I’m very pleased to announce the arrival of my new project: trip35.net

There’s already some great content on there by photographers from around the world.

And I’m really happy with the understated design. Head over and check it out!
This is something I’ve been hoping to get off the ground for a while: trip35.net

There’s still a heap of work to be done but eventually the site will have Trip 35 galleries from photographers around the world as well as repair and modification info and hopefully camera sales too.
I’ve already got a few Trip nuts on board so there’s gonna be some great content.

Here’s a few that I’ve been working on lately.
Stay tuned!
I was pretty excited to be contacted a little while ago by UK photographer Tim Cochrane inviting me to submit some pics for a website he was planning.
I kinda forgot about it until I got an email from him this week saying it was live. Check it out: The Shashin Collective

Tim says the site “has been created to showcase the work of today’s most cutting edge photographers from around the world.” Not sure if I fit that description!

It’s cool to have work shown alongside some photographers I really admire, especially Phil Sharp, who takes amazing portraits.
Make sure you check out Tim’s work - he does a bunch of stuff for mags like NME.
I’m a bit excited about this profile I got over at featureshoot.com

It’s a relatively new photo blog that “showcases work from up-and-coming photographers alongside work from established photographers who have completed a project or whose work has taken on a new direction.”
It’s one of my favourite sites and a great resource for finding inspiring work by photographers around the world.
I also got a few pics from a series I shot in Shanghai posted at lost at e minor, which is a cool site full of creative bits and pieces.
Well it’s taken a while, but my new website is done!
After almost three years I have a new online home and for the first time, a blog.

This also marks the launch of my new visual identity, custom made with love and care by my buddy Jess. We decided to keep the logo very simple and type-based (Baksheesh for font nerds) and let the photos do the talking. New stationary is printing as we speak!
The site is the work of web/design/coffee maestro and studio co-inhabitant, Josh Lamont. It has a very simple content management system which (hopefully) means I’ll keep the work fresh and the updates regular.
Stay tuned!
